I am a hassle-free house-sitter,a freelance translator working from my laptop. That's why I can live anywhere. My husband Laurence is 52 and is taking a couple of years out from teaching. We are non-smokers, now pet-free, and our children have flown the nest.
We have owned properties in UK, France and Spain and have undertaken three house swaps in the last four years, all very successful. We know how important it is to know that the occupant of your home will respect it, indeed nurture it.

We both love animals; I have had horses and can take care of them for you. Naturally, dogs and cats, too.
We'd like to think that homeowners who invite us to housesit will return to find things better than when they left - garden tidied and pets groomed.
