Normally it's the responbility of the home owner to delete their Ad once the sitting assignment has been filled, but some HO's forget to do that, and often times they will send me a request to delete it for them. due to my work load, often times I am not able to keep the Ads fresh, and some HO's are not sure how to post an ad.
I also sometimes forget to update the main page when the HO deletes their Ad,
in addition, internal email notifications sent to HO's and HS's from this site are sometimes flagged as spam. so the HS and HO don't realize they get a reponse. when that happens and I see unread email, i will notify the HO or HS via personal email so they can respond. or follow up with a HO if they fail to repond at all, and delete their Ad.
apolgies for the late reponse, I run and own many web sites that keep me very busy at times. plus I am building a lot of new features for this site.

Also, there seem to be few sitting opportunities posted unless I am not finding them. Are they displayed somewhere other than the home page and the ad forum?
