Hello!
I have just recently finished post-graduate
studies, and have moved to Toronto (from
Kingston). While in Kingston I house sat for more
than dozen different homes over years - some for a
few days, some for as long as four months. Some
with pets, some with out. Some in the country,
some in the city. Well, you get the idea.
And you know, I simply loved doing it.
The funny thing is, I never put up posters - it
all happened by word-of-mouth. (A testament,
perhaps, to how well I did).
Now that I'm in Toronto, that word-of-mouth factor
doesn't work as well. So I will do my best to
sell myself to you, here. (Although, of course, I
am also happy to give you the names of people back
in Kingston, as reference).
I have a number of personal qualities that are
ideal for housesitting - I'm responsible, very
quiet, clean, organized, and, yes, animal-loving!
I don't smoke, I very rarely drink, and I don't do
parties (it's just not "my thing").
For three winters in Kingston I was overjoyed to
help out different couples, by watching their
place for a few months. I'm hoping that the same
might be possible this winter.
