Hello everyone, I am new to this, but I decided to post my availability as a home sitter or pet sitter as I've recently retired after 33 years at General Motors head office in Canada. My career pertained to the Legal field.
I am a licenced power pilot, as well as a glider pilot, but that was before I became the mother of twins, a boy and a girl, they are age 8, and the joy of my life !
I own my own home which is close to Toronto, Ontario, a lovely 2-story century clinker-brick home, with a beautiful backyard and above-ground pool, and am also open to a home exchange.
I have travelled extensively throughout the world, and know how to be a gracious guest, as well as hostess !
I have a deep love for animals, and nature. I grew up in the country with all sorts of animals, and have a tendency to take in stray cats. I currently have two cats, but once had five. And so I am open to any housesitting positions where the care of animals is involved, I would absolutely love that !
I am a very orderly and tidy person, who cares for everything as if it were my own. I have stayed in many fine hotels in Europe and elsewhere, as well as some not so nice hotels ... particularly during my many gliding escapades in rural towns in the U.S.
I strive to be humble, but to give you a glimpse into my personality, I'm very down-to-earth and most people enjoy my company. I'm well-studied, a voracious reader, and most times have a smile on my face !
